MindTerm SSH is a fully functional SSH client written in Java. This page presents Mindterm in the form of an applet. Please wait for the applet to load, it will load automatically once the archive is downloaded, be patient. You can optionally download the jar or the signed jar to run locally if you know what you are doing. I make no guarantees as to the security of its implementation as it is not written by me. You must be running a Java Virtual Machine (also called a Runtime Environment). If you don't have one, you can get one at java.sun.com.
Note/IE USERS: If you are using garbage for a browser (Internet Explorer comes to mind), you can click here to launch the applet. It should open in a new window. If you are using a browser other than IE, have patience and the applet will load.
Note: This is a self signed applet. It is signed by weaver.kicks-ass.net with signing authority Weaver Self Signed. This applet is self signed because it costs money to have it signed by a signing authority and if left unsigned is crippled in terms of features. You will need a recent ( 1.4 or later ) version of Sun's JVM as the signing method is Sun's RSA style method. Old JVM's will be unable to verify the signature and the applet will run in unsigned mode.
Update: It has been brought to my attention that some versions of Internet Explorer were reporting that the applet was in fact verified by a real signing authority. I do not know why, but I believe I have narrowed this bug/feature/exploit down to the fact that the applet was getting launched out of an <object> tag. When launched out of an <applet> tag (which is not valid XHTML 1.1) the behavior disappeared and the proper notice indicating it was signed by weaver.kicks-ass.net was displayed.
